Mrs. Kalan’s 5th grade class headed to South Lake for a beautiful snowshoe hike at Heavenly Mountain Resort, led by the US Forest Service. Students had a chance to ride in the gondola, enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, learn about local animal species, and spot bear scratches on the trees.
The PTA brought SWEP (Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships) to IES for an all day science expo!
