Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) presented “How Are Bats Like People?” to all 3rd graders! Students measured their arm span and height and compared it to that of a bat. They also played a game that taught them how bats find their pups by using their senses of hearing and smell.
The PTA brought SWEP (Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships) to IES for an all day science expo!
