2nd graders from Incline Elementary School created “John C. Skimont”, their entry in the 13th Annual Dummy Downhill Event held at Diamond Peak on April 7th. Students designed and helped build “Skimont” in engineering class and Diamond Peak generously provided lift tickets, rentals and lessons to reward their hard work. The “Skimont” dummy took overall best entry, skiing a perfect line down Showoff Run and then sticking the landing which brought cheers from the crowd. See Skimont’s perfect run in the video below.
